About Us
Collina Plantation Inn is a greek revival antebellum home built ca. 1831, by Judge Volney Stamps and his wife Jane. As you approach the secluded, peaceful, heavily wooded acreage via the the restored circular drive, you feel transported back in time. "Collina" has two wings built by later owners in the 1880's. One of these wings has the bed and breakfast rooms. The home sits on 8.5 tranquil acres of land.
The property is situated next to a horse pasture on one side with woods surrounding the rest of the acreage. Wildlife, gardens and the original large L shaped porch with a brick fountain courtyard greets you.
Collina Plantation reopened as Collina Plantation Inn (Fall 2016)
A Stay at Collina is a step back in time as you drive up the circular drive way. You will be drawn to the back galley where one can sit, relax and listen to the sounds of nature.
